水园沁碧，骤夜雨飘红，竟空林岛。艳春过了。有尘香坠钿，尚遗芳草。步绕新阴，渐觉交枝径小。醉深窈。爱绿叶翠圆，胜看花好。
芳架雪未扫。怪翠被佳人，困迷清晓。柳丝系棹。问闾门自古，送春多少。倦蝶慵飞，故扑簪花破帽。酹残照。掩重城、暮钟不到。
扫花游·送春古江村创作背景
据杨铁夫《吴梦窗词笺释》考证，此词作于吴文英在苏州仓幕供职之时。“古江村”，在苏州西园内。西园中有张孝祥书写的“古江村”匾额。
扫花游·送春古江村鉴赏
《扫花游》，词牌名。双调，九十四字，上片十一句六仄韵，下片十句七仄韵。
“水园”三句，写暮春园林景色。“水园”，即荷池。题曰“送春”，所以古江村的园中在遭到一夜的急风骤雨摧残后，岸上、池中小岛上的花木尽都凋零，水上飘满落英，只有池中长满的碧绿的田田荷叶更显精神。“艳春”三句，述春去而迹遗。既曰“送春”，所以此言万紫千红的春天虽已过去了，但是飘到头饰上的微尘中还含有花的香味，在游园女子的身上能找到春草的气息。“步绕”两句，写初夏景色。入夏之后，如果人们在绿荫下散步，会发觉树上的枝叶繁密交杂，使林中小径显得更加窄小。“小”字韵咏“新阴”入细。“醉深窈”三句，说明自己对浓绿的喜爱程度。因为绿色表示生命，古今爱绿之心相同，所以词人深深地沉醉在这深幽繁茂的浓绿荫中，觉得那翠绿色的片片圆叶，比千姿百态的繁花具有更强大的生命力。故此，词人在“送春”时，对“落花流水春去也”，没有留恋之意。“好”字韵，写“绿阴幽草胜花时”妙极。
“芳架”三句，再叙暮春之景。此言暮春时节，花架上的白色花瓣还没有来得及清扫掉，从窗口射入照在美人床上锦被的阳光已变得翡翠色了（此因阳光从浓绿中透入之故也），所以使床上佳人更感到神思困乏，懒于起床。此是写佳人之春困，是第一层“送春”。“柳丝”三句。“阊门”，即是西园，也就是“古江村”的所在地。此言在古江村近旁的阊门运河边、柳树下，拴着即将离开的客船不知道在这条运河上，也曾经送别了多少个春天。古时有折柳送别的习俗，今柳丝终不能拴住客船，留住行人。这儿的“系棹”所想留住的实是词人心中的去妾，即上句的“困迷清晓”的“佳人”，及“送春”中的“春”所暗示的伊人也。此为第二层行客之“送春”。“倦蝶”两句，言彩蝶受到和暖的阳光照射（即外界因素的影响），更懒于飞翔，所以它就只能就近挑选一处地方，如破帽上的簪花之类停下来休息。这里是指其也已年老力衰，离开这里（即“飞”）后，所能选择的新家，也只能如破帽上的簪花一样属一时新鲜也。此潦倒中含有闲放也，是第三层词人的“送春”。“酹残照”两句，写实而兼影射。此言词人迎着夕阳洒酒于地送别残春。而古江村由于地处偏僻，受城墙阻隔，所以也听不见暮钟催晚的响声。这两句是梦窗化用周邦彦《扫花游》词结尾“黯凝伫，掩重关、遍城钟鼓”。而“酹残照”也是照应上片“醉深窈”。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
