（1665—1736）江西高安人，字若瞻，号可亭。康熙三十三年进士。由知县累擢浙江巡抚，筑沿海石塘数百里。雍正间官文华殿大学士，兼吏部尚书。乾隆初受命协同王大臣总理政务。曾上疏请罢垦田，慎刑狱，又陈盐政利弊八条。卒谥文端。曾与蔡世远同辑《历代名臣传》、《历代循吏传》、《历代名儒传》，另有《周易传义合订》、《广惠编》、《朱文端公文集》等。
